Ottostop's products are all hand printed using high quality water-based paper / fabric inks. These are a lot more environmentally-friendly than solvent-based inks. Ottostop is also very waste-conscious and makes every effort to minimise waste & find a use for all scraps of paper and fabric.
Screen printing is not a digital process so slight irregularities may occur during the printing process. This adds to the uniqueness and 'handmade' quality of each piece.
We recommend washing all textile products with warm, soapy water and ironing on a medium heat setting with an ironing cloth or kitchen paper towel placed on top of the printed design. With some strong pigments care should be taken when first using the item, as the colour may transfer to other objects, therefore avoid making contact with light colored surfaces (we will always attach a care note in these situations).
